Fort Houston is an interdisciplinary workspace for makers of all media, offering its participants and attendees the opportunity to discover their creative potential and thereby facilitating the enrichment of Nashville’s artistic community. Educational art courses, individual and shared studio spaces, creative branding and management; all of these components and more come together under the collective vision of Fort Houston, with the aim of continuing the exponential growth of Nashville’s creative enterprise.

In 2018, Fort Houston established its non-profit sector, the Fort Houston Artisan Support Project, in order to further extend these objectives. Encompassing both our maker space and contemporary art gallery, the non-profit will focus on expanding the educational outreach and exhibitive potential of Fort Houston.

The maker space, Fort Houston’s inaugural component, is paramount to the overall vision and functionality of the non-profit. It is and has always been imperative to the founders and operators of Fort Houston to foster a space in which work of many different disciplines can take place, and allow artisans to prosper. Due to generous sponsorships and donations, we are able to offer our members an affordable, community-based support system, through which they can build and expand their respective businesses.

The gallery space will expand the reach of Nashville’s arts community by functioning as a platform for both locally and internationally known artists. Ultimately, we will utilize the gallery to introduce culturally important works to the Nashville audience, as well as secure Nashville’s imminence in visual art culture on an international scale.

With these initiatives in mind, we would like to invite your participation as one of our highly valued sponsors. Your donation will enable the formation of classes, allow the gallery to expand its directive of cultural enrichment, and support the varied and beneficial impact of Fort Houston. Please review our Sponsorship Packages in order to determine which option best suits your organization.

Thank you for your consideration; we truly value your support, and look forward to hearing from you! Please feel free to contact us through the information above, with any further inquiries.
